Full Description

Intent to Sole Source SPSS, Inc. The U. S. General Services Administration, Federal Technology Service (GSA/FTS), on behalf of the Department of Justice, Washington, D.C., intends to make a firm-fixed price, sole source award to SPSS, Chicago, IL, for the following items unless another product source can be found: SPSS Clementine Server Maintenance Reinstatement-8 CPU Server (through June 30, 2007); SPSS Clementine Server Maintenance Reinstatement-2 Named Users (through June 30, 2007); SPSS Clementine Solutions Publisher Maintenance Reinstatement - Unlimited Users (through June 30, 2007); and Two Day Introduction to Clementine Training - Up to 15 users, held at customer facility with the greater Washington, D.C. area. Specifically, SPSS. Inc. is the sole developer/provider of the software maintenance and training for - SPSS Clementine Server and - SPSS Clementine Solutions Publisher software. Statutory authority for the sole source is 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1,Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The contract period will be from date of award through June 30, 2006. Offerors able to provide the required service are invited to identify their interest and ability to meet the requirements by submitting a qualifications and capabilities statement and any other information which shows a bona fide ability to meet this requirement. If no affirmative responses are received by 8:00 a.m. PDT, Friday, 26 May 2006 to determine that a comparable source more advantageous to the Government is available, a contract will be awarded to the aforementioned source. The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purposes only. TELEPHONIC QUESTIONS OR REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED OR ACKNOWLEDGED. Once questions are e-mailed, it is the responsibility of the Offeror to call (253) 931-7022 and ensure that all e-mail submissions have been received, no later than the above due date. All interested parties must be registered in IT-Solutions prior to 26 May 2006 in order to submit a quote. Registration can be obtained by visiting https://web.itss.gsa.gov/.
