Headquarters Standard Systems Group plans to award a sole source contract to TBD Networks, located in San Jose, California, for the provision of Service Commander Software Maintenance and technical support. The maintenance component includes rights to receive all updates, enhancements, and modifications released by TBD Networks, while technical support offers end users access to a dedicated support line. This one-year firm-fixed-price contract will be awarded under FAR Part 12 procedures, recognizing the service as a commercial item and leveraging FAR 6.302 authority to engage a single source due to proprietary restrictions stemming from copyrights held by SanSoft. The Air Force invites other interested parties to express their interest or submit proposals within specified timeframes, although this is not a competitive solicitation. Respondents must clarify their business size, ownership status, and whether they are U.S. or foreign-owned. Communications regarding the requirement are directed to Lt. Justin Plokhooy, who is the contracting specialist managing the acquisition. The contract is identified under solicitation number R967 with NAICS code 541511, associated with computer systems design services. The Air Force emphasizes that only TBD Networks can provide the full scope of required services due to proprietary constraints, justifying the sole source procurement approach.
