Full Description

This synopsis provides notice of the Government’s award on a competitive basis to VRC, Incorporated, 8413 Corto Circle, San Antonio, TX 78239-2426 for a Firm Fixed Price contract with a base year period of performance and two 1-year option periods. The solicitation N0010411RQ508 was prepared for commercial services in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, along with associated travel and materials and was set aside for small business under NAICS code 541513. The solicitation closed on February 1, 2012. The primary objective of the requirement is to provide information technology support for the CHDS. More specifically, responsibilities include (1) overseeing the operations and direction of the information services department, including all computing and networking systems, web systems development and the Homeland Security Digital Library, (2) developing, maintaining and enhancing new and existing web?based instructional media application, (3) assisting in the development and maintenance of web systems necessary to publish and administer the Homeland Security Affairs on?line journal, and (4) providing services to ensure that CHDS meets its requirement for attracting the most qualified and diverse participants possible, ensuring that local, state, federal and tribal officials are aware of the Center’s resources and fully avail themselves of the various programs and products, building ongoing relationships with the ever changing national cadre of local, state, federal and tribal leaders and their agencies and departments.
