This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. STATEMENT OF WORK Armed Forces Medical Examiner System - Brand Name or Equal DXperience Enterprise Subscription 1. Background. The Armed Forces Medical Examiner System is responsible for the identification as well as the determination of cause and manor of death for all US service members. The AFMES and its supporting divisions and missions rely on a suite of custom applications to rapidly complete the identification process and return the remains of US service personnel to family members for interment. 2. Purpose The purpose of this statement of work is to acquire ten (10) Brand Name or Equal suppor subscriptions of DevExpress Dxperience application development tools. It is a requirement for DIACAP certification to have active subscripition agreements in place for all essential software. The services provided by the contractor to the Armed Forces Medical Examiner System will be defined below. 3. Scope Provide subscription service to application development tools. Brand Name or Equal DXperience Subscription Covers: Monthly bug fixes, or as available Receive updates, new versions and new products introduced for the package covered under the subscription Access to major updates release at least twice a year 24/365 Access to online knowledge base, community portals, online resources and tools. 4. Schedule The period of performance will be 25 July , 2013 - 24 July, 2014 with Four 1 year options (Base plus 4 Option Years). 6. Your submission must include your quote as a Firm-Fixed Price order. The planned Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) structure is on pages 3 and 4; however, you are to calculate and state your proposed price in accordance with the Request for Quote. Please note if you intend to invoice on an annual or monthly basis at the time of quote. The Government intends to award an order without discussions. Offeror should provide their best, complete proposal upon initial submission. The Government reserves the right to hold discussions if deemed necessary by the Contracting Officer.
