This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is a brand name purchase on the grounds that Tripwire, Inc. software satisfies DoD Instruction 8500.2 with the highest level of technical integrity and independence. All proposals must quote software manufactured by Tripwire, Inc. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for equipment in support of the WR-ALC IT division. Items required are One (1) Tripwire Enterprise Server-Oracle P/N 70145, Ten (10) Tripwire Enterprise ND license P/N 70160, Fifty (50) Tripwire Enterprise FS-4 P/N 70149, One (1) Tripwire Enterprise Server-Oracle First Year Std Support P/N 70170, Ten (10) Tripwire Enterprise ND-First Year Std Support P/N 70222, Fifty (50) Tripwire Enterprise FS-4 First Year Std Support P/N 70202, One (1) Five-Day Quickstart Installation, Configuration and Employee Training The following clauses (current through FAC 2005-7, and DFARS Change Notice 20051209) are applicable to subject solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors; 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items; 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications ?
