The Army Contracting Command Rock Island is seeking manufacturers and suppliers for Type I and Type II heavy duty industrial cabinet sets for the Metal Working and Machining Shop Set program. These cabinets must meet rigorous durability standards, including the ability to withstand a six inch flat drop and an eight mile per hour rail impact without permanent damage. Additionally, shelves and battens must remain secure after extensive transport over both paved and secondary roads. Due to specific interface requirements within the MWMSS shelter, the dimensions for length, width, height, and drawer sizes are fixed and cannot be adjusted. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor and materials under NAICS code 337124. This initial request serves as market research to help the government develop its acquisition approach for future requirements and does not constitute a formal request for quote or a contractual obligation. Interested parties were asked to submit company details, CAGE codes, and product descriptions to the designated contract specialist for planning purposes.

LUMBER BASIC ORDERING AGREEMENT
Solicitation # W519TC-27-Q-LUMB
The Department of Defense, through Army Contracting Command-Rock Island, is establishing a no-cost Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for the procurement of commercial lumber products. This agreement, which has a maximum ceiling of 99 million dollars and a validity period of up to five years, serves as a qualification mechanism. Only vendors who obtain an executed BOA during this initial solicitation process will be eligible to compete for specific delivery order requirements over the next five years. The scope includes hardwood, dimensional softwood, Southern Yellow Pine, plywood, and galvanized steel strapping for delivery to seven military installations, including the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, Anniston Army Depot, and Blue Grass Army Depot. Qualified BOA holders will compete for firm-fixed-price delivery orders based on criteria such as price, technical capability, and past performance. Contractors must demonstrate the ability to deliver materials within 14 business days for standard orders and seven business days for emergency requests. Technical evaluations for BOA execution focus on five critical areas: sourcing capability, quality assurance compliance with industry standards like ALSC and APA, contract management experience, logistics and surge capacity, and adherence to American Wood Protection Association environmental and treatment standards. All payments are processed via Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF), and materials must meet strict structural performance standards, specifically ASTM D6199 for hardwood.

Solicitation # W519TC-26-Q-JOC1
Solicitation W519TC-26-Q-JOC1 is a total small business set-aside for a Firm-Fixed-Price Job Order Contract (JOC) to support the Directorate of Public Works at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant in Oklahoma. The contract covers a broad range of sustainability, repair, maintenance, and minor construction work on real property. It consists of a one-year base period with four one-year option periods, featuring a total maximum ceiling of 99 million dollars. Individual task orders are limited to a minimum of 5,000 dollars and a maximum of 19.8 million dollars. Proposals are evaluated based on past performance and price, with non-price factors being significantly more important. Contractors must provide experienced personnel, including a Program Manager and Lead Estimator with at least five years of JOC experience, and a Site Safety Health Officer with OSHA30 and First Aid/CPR certifications. Performance and payment bonds are required for individual task orders exceeding 35,000 dollars. The closing date for the solicitation has been extended to November 16, 2026, at 5:00 PM CST, with sample proposals due by November 9, 2026.
