Title: Furnish 463 square yards of carpet for various offices at Mobile District Office, for the US Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, AL. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has a requirement to purchase office carpet for Mobile District Office and intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under GSA contract with Shaw Industries, Inc, 616 E Walnut Ave, Dalton, GA under authority of FAR 6.302. It was determined that maintaining uniformity of the carpet in the Federal building would save money for the many changes and office reconfigurations that are required for the building. It is determined to be in the Governments best interest to buy Reflection IV Shaw carpet squares. The entire building is already floored with the same type carpet.
