725-6BB-1893- Installing Conduit

Caltrans has approved an encroachment permit for Crown Castle Fiber LLC to install a 3-inch conduit through a 596-foot bore beneath the state right-of-way along I-405 at postmile 29.18 near National Blvd in Los Angeles. The work includes furnishing and installing two 30-inch by 48-inch vaults, removing and replacing 310 square feet of concrete sidewalk, adding two risers to existing utility poles numbered 392834E and 398725M, resurfacing 32 square feet of asphalt pavement, and implementing all necessary traffic control measures. Excavation for the conduit will reach a maximum depth of 48 inches with an average width of 12 inches and a maximum length of 580 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no additional right-of-way will be acquired for this project. All activities are confined to the existing state right-of-way and are designed to minimize disruption to the surrounding infrastructure and public access.
