725-6RS-2367- Sidewalk/Driveway Project

Caltrans, District 7 - Los Angeles, has approved an encroachment permit for West Coast Revivals LLC to undertake sidewalk and driveway modifications in Culver City, California. The work includes sawcutting and removing 20 linear feet of curb at the flowline while preserving the gutter, followed by reconstructing a Type A1 curb. Eight linear feet of existing sidewalk will be removed and replaced with a new sidewalk featuring a 1% crossfall and a maximum longitudinal slope of 1 inch to 12 inches to ensure seamless integration with the driveway ramp. An additional 20 linear feet of sidewalk will be removed and reconstructed to facilitate the new driveway ramp layout, also with a 1% crossfall. The private driveway will have 12 feet of its surface removed and repoured to align with the revised grade of the new walkway, and an excess private curb will be excavated and repoured at a lower elevation to safeguard the newly lowered public sidewalk. All excavation work is limited to a maximum depth of 8 inches, an average width of 5 feet, and a maximum length of 36 feet. No public utilities will be relocated and no additional right-of-way will be acquired for this project.
