The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from potential suppliers capable of providing steam table equipment equivalent to the Multiteria Essence line, specifically including two Hot Food Serving Counters (Model HLS96), two 6-pan Hot Well Units, and two 2-Tier Shelving Units, all with specified engineering and performance requirements. This request is strictly for market research and planning purposes under FAR 15.201(e) and does not constitute a solicitation or guarantee of future procurement. Responses must detail how offerings meet or fail to meet stringent technical specifications such as stainless steel construction, dimensional limits, electrical and thermal performance, drain systems, caster integration, and compatibility between units. Companies are required to submit comprehensive capabilities statements, confirm small business status under NAICS code 333310, disclose ownership certifications, address non-manufacturer rules, and affirm compliance with the Buy American Act, while also providing lead times, expected product lifespan, FDA clearance status, and any existing federal contracting authority like GSA schedules. Pricing information is encouraged but will only be used for comparative market analysis and cannot form the basis of contract award. All submissions must be emailed to the designated point of contact by July 15, 2026, and must include the respondent’s SAM.gov Unique Entity ID and CAGE code. The VA will evaluate responses to inform future acquisition decisions, which may include additional RFIs or a formal solicitation, but this notice alone will not place respondents on a bidder list or entitle them to future documents. The equipment is intended for use at a facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and responses must clearly identify whether the submitter is the manufacturer, authorized distributor, or reseller, with detailed disclosures on assembly, modification, subcontracting compliance, and commercial item status. Responses that are incomplete, lack required certifications, or fail to fully address the salient characteristics will be disqualified. Participation does not obligate the government to proceed with procurement, and respondents bear all costs associated with their submission.
