This is a source sought announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified potential offerors. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The Department of Veterans Affairs Garner VA Outpatient Clinic, 2700 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529, has a requirement for ice and water dispensers to support patient needs. Garner VA Outpatient Clinic is requesting contractors to provide brand name or equal equipment that meets or exceed the physical, functional, and performance of: Ice Maker, Countertop, Dispenser, Ice and Water: Follett, LLC. 125 lb Countertop Nugget Ice and Water Dispenser Model # 7CI100A-IW-CF-ST-00 Countertop nugget ice and water dispenser produces up to 125 pounds of ice every day. The storage area can hold up to 7 pounds at a time. High-density, foamed-in-place polyurethane slows the melting of ice stored there. Features: A sleep mode saves energy, and the harvest cycles are quiet. The blue lights on the front show you where to get ice and water dispensed. There is an internal filter for the ice and water. Internal components coated with a silver-based antimicrobial agent. 20-ounce drip tray collects water. Size approximately 22 L x 14.75 W x 33.5 H Equipment must provide the functional and performance capability as listed above in section in above. The Contractor shall provide all management, tools, parts, materials (including quality control materials, and consumable items), equipment, travel, and labor necessary to provide and install all equipment described above. Contractor shall provide instructions and training to the end user.
