The Cape Fear River Entrance Front Range LT has several immediate repair recommendations include replacement of ladder, ladder safety cage, safety chain and replacement/relocation of waterline platform 5 feet higher. Ladder is corroded and with up to 25% section loss in the bottom 10 feet from the waterline platform. Waterline platform is awash at high tide, the only time the aid is able to be accessed by boat directly.
Other non-immediate repair recommendations include clean and painting foundation of monopile, tower, optic stand and guardrails. Replacing severely corroded winch and cable, conduit covers, connector clips and solar panel stand.
