76--Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service plans to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Environment and Energy Publishing, LLC, located in Washington, DC, to continue providing news subscription services. This follow-on contract will extend services until a new contract evaluation and selection process is completed, with the performance period ending no later than August 31, 2020. The procurement will be conducted under FAR 6.302-1, allowing for non-competitive acquisition, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition procedures. The services fall under NAICS code 519110, with a size standard of $30 million. This notice serves as an announcement rather than a solicitation for competitive proposals; however, interested and capable firms are invited to respond by May 18, 2020. The Government retains full discretion to decide whether to pursue competition based on such responses.
