The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), through its VISN 10 Contracting Officer, plans to issue a sole source contract to AlterG for the provision of an M320 Antigravity Treadmill for the Cleveland VA Medical Center located in Cleveland, Ohio. This procurement is justified under 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1 due to the proprietary nature of the treadmill and the need to maintain equipment standardization throughout VA facilities. The solicitation, identified as VA25011RQ0140, was posted on March 25, 2011, under NAICS code 339920 and is managed by the 250-NETWORK Contract Office 10 based in Dayton, Ohio.
