This award notice, solicitation number 140L1222P0073, pertains to a firm-fixed-price purchase order issued by the Department of the Interior's Bureau of Land Management California State Office in Sacramento. The contract is awarded to Trimble Inc. for the procurement of cadastral land surveying equipment, specifically R12i GNSS receivers, associated firmware, and software maintenance. The acquisition was conducted as a sole-source procurement under NAICS code 334511, justified by the need for technical compatibility with the agency's existing systems and the unique technical capabilities offered by Trimble. A key component of this agreement is the inclusion of trade-in value for old equipment to offset the cost of the new survey-grade GPS technology. The procurement process was finalized in September 2022, with Erim Celik serving as the primary point of contact for the agency.
