The U.S. Army Contracting Command - APG, Natick Contracting Division, intends to award a firm fixed price contract under FAR Subpart 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency Requirements, to Wolverine Worldwide for 210 pairs of the Bates Tora Bora Alpine Boot. Market Research was conducted through a Request for Information in June 2014 (W911QYALPINEBOOTS). Market Research identified the Bates Tora Bora Alpine Boot as the only readily available Berry Amendment compliant product that meets the environmental protection and binding compatibility needs of the United States Army, Alaska (USARAK) soldiers at the Northern Warfare Training Center (NWTC).
