The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration, Chicago Regional Office is seeking a qualified GSA Schedule holder to produce and deliver various outerwear textile apparel items, specifically crew neck tee-shirts. The garments must be composed of 50% polyester and 50% combed-cotton with a minimum fabric weight of 3.7 oz/yd. A critical requirement is that the shirts be tag-less from the manufacturer, as the contractor is responsible for sewing on government-provided private and care labels in a stacked configuration at the back inner neckline using thread that matches the shirt color. The contractor must maintain a quality control program to ensure all specifications are met, and the government reserves the right to request sample lots for verification prior to payment. This opportunity is a total small business set-aside, and all bidders must be registered in the System for Award Management database to be eligible for award. The contract will be awarded based on the best overall value to the government, considering both price and the ability to meet all stated requirements.
