The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) plans to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract to Red River Resources for propane delivery to Jeehdeeza Elementary School under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This procurement is not open for competitive proposals, and no solicitation or technical questions will be entertained. The contract aims to adjust both the price per gallon and the quantity of propane fuel supplied for Option Year 1, reflecting increased needs due to colder weather conditions. Previously, the school ordered 32,786 gallons, exceeding the original contract quantity of 20,000 gallons. Consequently, the contract must allow an additional 12,786 gallons, increasing the total amount to 33,000 gallons to meet the school's demand. These changes comply with FAR Clause 52.211-18 regarding variations in estimated quantities. Interested firms believing the BIA should not proceed with this sole source award are invited to submit capability statements and pricing information by 4:00 pm MT on February 4, 2021, to the designated contract specialist, Mary Jane Johnson. The NAICS code for this procurement is 324110, associated with Petroleum Refineries. This contract serves the Department of the Interior through the Bureau of Indian Affairs, with administration managed from Reston, Virginia.
