This is a combined synopsis/solicitation reserved for Small Businesses for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.202(b), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued.


Work shall consist of the modernization of one (1) freight elevator and its supporting building systems at the Rosa Parks Federal Building in Detroit, MI. Supporting system work includes but is not limited to electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. The project scope also includes minor Environmental Work in the form of lead dust remediation and elevator maintenance during a one (1) year warranty period post work completion. The Period of Performance will be 215 days from date of Notice to Proceed. 


A walkthrough/pre-proposal conference is scheduled for Wednesday, June 17th, 2026 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time at the Rosa Parks Federal Building, 985 Michigan Avenue, Detroit, MI 48226-1100. Please submit an Attendance Form as instructed in the RFQ.


RFIs are due by Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026 at 12:00 PM Eastern Time, to be sent to patricia.dalinis@gsa.gov.
