Kitchen Elevator Upgrade and Repair Service - NHSP-M

Solicitation RFP NHDOC 2027-07 is a request for a Firm Fixed Price/Not to Exceed contract to provide comprehensive upgrades and repairs for a 1985 Dover Corporation passenger elevator with a 4,000-pound capacity. Located at the New Hampshire State Prison for Men (NHSP-M), the elevator serves two floors of the kitchen. The scope of work requires the contractor to furnish and install a new power unit, including the motor, hydraulic valve, pump, oil reservoir/tank, and muffler, while ensuring all work complies with local, state, and federal elevator codes. The contract is anticipated to be effective upon Governor and Council approval and run through April 30, 2027. Proposals must be submitted by 2:00 PM EST on November 13, 2026, consisting of a sealed Technical Proposal and a sealed Cost Proposal. Evaluation is based on a combined score of technical capabilities, which include organizational experience and correctional expertise, and the Best and Final Offer cost proposal. Awarded vendors must be NH State licensed professionals and maintain significant insurance coverages, including $1,000,000 per occurrence in General Liability. Due to the correctional setting, personnel are subject to strict security screenings, including CJIS and PREA compliance, and the NHDOC reserves the right to refuse admittance to any contractor staff. Payment is issued via monthly itemized invoices within 30 days of approval.
