Notice of Contract Action for a Sole Source Procurement SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT FOR THREE (3) DAY VISORS AND THREE (3) NIGHT VISORS. DESC: INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT WITH VISION SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL. The Air Force, Edwards Air Force Base, CA intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Vision Systems International, 641 River Oaks Parkway, San Jose, CA 95134. The Sole Source purchase will be for the following six (6) commercial items: MODEL: 620530-03-04 QUANTITY: Three (3) Description: Day Visor for Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS) Helmet manufactured by Vision Systems International. NSN: 8475-01-506-7030 MODEL: 620530-01-01 QUANTITY: Three (3) Description: Night Visor for Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS) Helmet manufactured by Vision Systems International. NSN: 8475-01-506-7056 These visors must be manufactured specifically to mount on JHMCS shells. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the three (3) Day Visors and three (3) Night Visors above.
