Full Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE under solicitation number W91ZLK-12-T-0126. This procurement action is being conducted under FAR part 13 and 6.302-1 with the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), to Koolatron, 27 Catharine Avenue, Brantford CN N3T 1X5, as only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the requirement; therefore proposals cannot be submitted directly on this notice. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333415 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. The resultant purchase order will include all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-56. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD has a requirement to procure the following item: Customized Koolatron Cooler Modified B07-USM (221) quantity; customized coolers, rebuilt with specific components for the U.S. Army. Thermoelectric cooler, 7 liters (around 7 quartz); Powered by 12V DC auto plug adapter, current draws 4 - 5 amps; Cools to 30 degree Fahrenheit ambient temperature. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes, however, all information received by 13 March 2012 will be considered by the Government. All interested vendors must respond by 13 March 2012, 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Responses shall be submitted to the point of contact Nikkia Meanor via e-mail, contact@example.gov.
