The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation is soliciting bids for firebreak maintenance and hazard tree removal at Nickerson State Park for fiscal year 2027. All work must comply with OSD Statewide Contract FAC 120, and the contractor is required to ensure that tree stumps protrude no more than two inches from the ground. Qualified bidders must provide a completed Bidder Response Form, three relevant references, and certified insurance policies for all subcontractors. Evaluation is based on the best value to the Commonwealth, considering price, equipment, safety programs, and the qualifications of onsite staff. All equipment must meet ANSI specifications and current safety inspections. The project is subject to Department of Labor Standards Prevailing Wage Rates.
