Full Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Federal Grain Inspection Service (FGIS) Kansas City, MO., has a requirement to replace Zymark Benchmate II SPE Workstation that is used in each of the mycotoxin reference methods for automated sample purification. For the zearalenone and aflazation reference methods, the system is also used for on-line injection for HPLC analysis. USDA intends to negotiate solely with ManSci Inc the distributor for Gilson ASPEC Xli system. The Gilson ASPEC Xli is similar to the Benchmate II and is the only instrument offering full compatibility with our existing methods.This procurement will be conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Authority: 41U.S.C.253(c)(1). This procurement will be conducted as Commercial Item acquisition under FAR Part 12. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
