Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Irwin, California, intends to award a ten (10) month Interim Contract under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2) Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies of Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The period of performance is 1 June 2013 thru 31 March 2014. The interim contract is required to continue mission critical logistics support services to the Fort Irwin Training Center pending the award of a new follow-on contract. The support services to be provided consists of logistical support services consisting of the following functions; Petroleum Oil Lubricant (POL), Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) support, Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance support, Warehousing support, Logistic Support Operations (LSO), supplies, services, and materials, except as specified as Government-furnished. This action is a follow-on effort to the current contract with Northrop Grumman Corporation, Technical Services, Inc. (NGTS). This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals; however, all interested persons that identify to the Contracting Officer their intent and capabilities to satisfy the Government's requirement and are received within 15 days after the date of publication of this notice, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
