The U.S. Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground, Natick Contracting Division, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with National Marine Suppliers under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The SEABOB CAYAGO F7 is a battery powered personal submersible propulsion system capable of operation underwater or on surface. The SEABOB CAYAGO F7 is a very unique system. It's designed to be a highly agile, compact, lightweight, powerful, submersible propulsion system that also operates on the surface. It is much powerful, faster and agile than typical underwater scooters and much more compact, versatile and quieter (due to battery power) than a typical jet ski. Unlike other personal propulsion systems, the SEABOB CAYAGO F7 has unique features to carry equipment, control depth and power, recharge rapidly and provide quick disconnect capability. National Marine is capable of meeting the Government's immediate need.
