99--This is a notice of intent to extend a sole source contract

The U.S. Army Contracting Command at APG Belvoir plans to extend Contract Number W15P7T-08-T002 with Palomar Display Products, Inc. on a sole source basis for an additional 12 months. Under this extension, Palomar will continue to supply Biocular Image Control Units (BICU) specifically for Abrams Tanks. There will be no increase to the existing contract ceiling, and the anticipated award date for this extension is September 23, 2013. While this notice is not a request for proposals, other interested and capable contractors may submit a response no longer than ten pages in Microsoft Word format, provided they are registered with the Central Contractor Registration in accordance with federal acquisition regulations. All offerors must complete the required Certifications and Representations outlined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation. Interested parties must register on the official government portal sam.gov for eligibility.
