White Sands Missile Range is in the process of competing the surface launch system support for research on rocket based vehicles and due to the expiration of current bridge contract we intend to award another bridge contract on a sole source basis to Northrop Grumman Information Technology Inc. The contract will be for $3.4M for a period of two (2) months. Northrop Grumman is the only known source that can meet our requirement; they have proprietary rights on the design, software, and hardware on th e system. In addition Northrop Grumman has acquired the technical experience and development process to meet the required delivery schedule. Other than full and open competition will be used under the authority FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source an d No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirement. This is not a request for quotations. No Solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties must respond by 3:00pm MDT on 11 May 2007 to Mari B.
