The primary goals include the integration and representation of varied large information sources, enhancing the effectiveness and usability of visualization tools, and developing new paradigms for visualization. The program seeks innovative solutions in technologies, algorithms, methods, and processes that can substantially advance the current state of geospatial intelligence visualization. A Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for this effort will be posted on or about August 6, 2004, on the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s (NGA) website under the Business Opportunities section. Proposals are invited from all responsible sources capable of delivering innovative GI2Vis concepts and products. The NGA anticipates awarding multiple contracts with total funding up to $2.5 million per fiscal year for FY2005 and FY2006, contingent upon the availability of funds. Interested parties will be required to submit proposals electronically as directed in the BAA.
