Full Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a follow-on three-year Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) originally awarded to Kollmorgen Corporation, Electro-optical Division, 347 King Street, Northampton, MA 02060-2330 in support of the MK 46 Optical Sight System (OSS). The not-to-exceed (NTE) ceiling under this BOA will be $17.9 M. The anticipated period of performance will be 01 November 2005 through 31 October 2008. Kollmorgen Corporation is the original equipment manufacturer and was the competitive winner of the MK 46 OSS manufacturing contract. This BOA provides MK 46 OSS support requirements for the US Navy in the following areas: MK 46 OSS Installation, Overhaul, Repair, Maintenance; MK 46 OSS Technical and Engineering Support Services, Training Services, MK 46 OSS Field Engineering Services; MK 46 OSS System and Component Tear-down, Inspect and Evaluate (TIE) Services; and Life Cycle Support Services; MK 46 OSS Engineering Change Kits, and MK 46 OSS Repair / Sp! are Parts and Replacement Components.
