The contractor must conduct an initial teleconference meeting with the VA COR within two weeks of contract award to establish roles, responsibilities, and a publication schedule. Monthly progress updates are required throughout the contract period. A comprehensive publication plan detailing key milestones, such as draft submissions, administrative and peer review periods, author edits, final reviews, and the anticipated publication date, must be submitted within 30 days of contract award. Final publication of the special journal issue is targeted for Fall/Winter 2016, pending approval by the Office of Research and Development.
