***THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE*** 


The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking information from sources that may be capable of providing a A set of Am-241 sources. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334516.   


NIST has a need for a A set of Am-241 sources that meets or exceeds the following draft minimum specifications: 


The Contractor shall provide 4 Am-241 sources that meet the following minimum specifications:

Description: Anodized aluminum alpha reference sources

NIST conducted market research from March through May of 2026 by attending conferences, speaking with colleagues, performing internet searches, and speaking with vendors to determine what sources could meet NIST’s minimum requirements.
