 Addendum No. 1 to Answer Question   NOTICE TO BIDDERS   Electronic or sealed bids will be received by the City of Baton Rouge and Parish of East Baton Rouge, Purchasing Division, City Hall Building, Room 826, 222 Saint Louis Street, 8th Floor, Baton Rouge, La. until 11:00 A.M. October 14, 2026 for the following:   A26-0905 CATIONIC POLYMER FOR WASTE WATER TREATMENT AND DISPOSAL DIVISION   Vendors who wish to be considered for testing and evaluation shall schedule site visit(s) no later than 3:00 PM, September 1, 2026 to Justin Sharper, jsharper@brla.gov (225-389-3136).  Testing and evaluation will be conducted at the South Wastewater Treatment Plant  (2850 Gardere Lane, Baton Rouge, LA 70820) and at the North Wastewater Treatment Plant (50 Woodpecker Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70807).  Products to be given consideration must be tested and evaluated no later September 11, 2026.  Products approved for field testing on South Plant’s screw presses must be tested by September 25, 2026.  Some of the items to be bid list one approved product.  Additional products which have been pre-approved for bidding will be published in an addendum upon conclusion of product testing. All products will have been tested and approved for bid purposes no later than October 2, 2026.   Official bid documents are available at Central Bidding (https://www.centralauctionhouse.com/rfpc10656-city-of-baton-rouge.html) or by request from the City of Baton Rouge at dsstewart@brla.gov.   Bids shall be submitted electronically via www.centralbidding.com or on the solicitation bid forms furnished by the City of Baton Rouge and Parish of East Baton Rouge prior to the bidding deadline.   Electronic bids for the solicitation will be downloaded by the City of Baton Rouge and Parish of East Baton Rouge, Purchasing Division.  Beginning as soon as feasible after the bid closing time all electronic bids will be downloaded and publicly read aloud along with all paper bids received, if any, in Room 806 immediately after the 11:00 a.m. bid closing. Bidders or their authorized representatives are invited to be present.  NOTE: The only vendor information shared at the bid opening will be the reading of the names of those vendors who submitted bids.     Note: The City-Parish has elected to use LaPAC, the state's online electronic bid posting and notification system, in addition to its standard means of advertising this requirement.
