AAFC Summerland Research and Development Centre – Archaeological Impact Assessment

AAFC requires the services of a professional archaeologist to complete an AIA consisting of a systematic subsurface testing program within the 25 AOPs, as identified and mapped in the 2024 PFR (WSP). The subsurface testing program, commonly called "shovel testing" will: a. assist in identifying the location of archaeological sites which are buried or obscured from view, and b. help determine the horizontal and vertical dimensions and internal structure of a site. The contract period will be from contract award to March 31, 2025. The anticipated start date is 2 weeks after contract award. Basis of selection: Mandatory Technical Criteria A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.
