Full Description

This requirement is for a competitive Firm-Fixed Price/Cost-Reimbursement - No Fee Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDUQ) two (2) one year contract with 2-1 year options. The total period of performance (PoP) is 36 months. The purpose of this effort is to provide 105mm Ammunition Rack Production kits to support Special Operations Force's (SOF) AC-130J aircraft. This effort includes one (1) first article kit and fourteen (14) 105mm Ammunition Rack Production kits. The contractor will be required to supply up to five (5) 105mm Ammunition Rack Kits per year, due to the AC-130J limitation of producing five (5) aircraft a year. A Mission Essential Quantity (MEQ) will be awarded to a proven source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. The Government will utilize Delivery Protection Program (DPP) competitive procedures. The AC-130J is a highly modified aircraft featuring improved navigation, threat detection, countermeasures and communication suites. United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) has an operational requirement for the 105mm Ammunition Rack on the AC-130J aircraft. Current AC-130J aircraft employs a 30mm/105mm cannon and Stand-off Precision Guided Munitions (PGM) to support the ground force commanders. The purpose of this requirement is to provide for the manufacture and assembling of the 105mm Ammunition Rack Production Kit part number 3C4830 for installation onto the AC- 130J fleet. This is a production kit requirement with a targeted contract award need of June 2019 with a need of up to five (5) 105mm Ammunition Racks Kits per year. The contractor shall produce the 105mm Ammo Rack Production Kits in accordance with the drawings provided. All drawings and data developed during 105 mm Gun Weapons System Production effort are government owned and have been input into Joint Engineering Data Management Information Control System (JEDMICS).
