ACAN – LGC oKtopure High Throughput DNA Extraction Robot Repair and Maintenance Service ContractThis Advance Contract Award Notice (ACAN) is a public notice indicating to the supplier community that Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada intends to award a service contract to a pre-identified supplier, thereby allowing other suppliers to signal their interest in bidding, by submitting a Statement of Capabilities. If no supplier submits, a Statement of Capabilities that meets the requirements set out in the ACAN, on or before the closing date stated in this ACAN, the Contracting Officer may then proceed with the award to the pre-identified supplier.REQUIREMENTS:Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada will be contracting services from LGC Genomics to:perform an on-site repair of LGC oKtopure: Pipette head refurbishment, outstanding Z-axis upgrade and instrument certification to ready the instrument for the oKtopure High Throughput DNA Extraction Robot Premier Service Contract (IR-04728)provide oKtopure High Throughput DNA Extraction Robot Premier Service Contract (IR-04728), 1 year, covering all repair costs (parts, labour and on-site travel), including one preventative maintenance, with option to renew Service Agreement for additional two years (maximum total contract 3 years).CRITERIA FOR ASSESSMENT OF THE STATEMENT OF CAPABILITIES :Any interested supplier must demonstrate by way of a statement of capabilities that it meets the following requirements:Are an authorized oKtopure High Throughput DNA Extraction Robot dealer who are certified to maintain, repair and calibrate oKtopure equipment.CONTRACT PERIOD:One year from date of contract award with two (2) x one (1) year options to extend.ESTIMATED VALUE:$78,075.00 USDPRE-IDENTIFIED SUPPLIER :LGC Genomics, LLC3600 Minnesota StreetAlexandria, MN 56308UNITED STATESSOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION:LGC Genomics is the developer, manufacturer, and seller of the oKtopure instrument and owners its intellectual property. They do not authorize value-added resellers or distributors for their equipment. As such they are the sole authority with regard to the service and repair of this instrument.ACAN NOTICE:You are hereby notified that the government intends to negotiate with one firm only as identified above. Should you have any questions concerning this requirement, contact the Contracting Authority.An Advance Contract Award Notice (ACAN) allows departments and agencies to post a notice, for no less than fifteen (15) calendar days, indicating to the supplier community that it intends to award a good, service or construction contract to a pre-identified contractor. If no other supplier submits, on or before the closing date, a Statement of Capabilities that meets the requirements set out in the ACAN, the Contracting Authority may then proceed with the award.
