The Guelph Research and Development Centre (RDC) has a requirement for a service contract to provide maintenance and repair services for one (1) MiSeq and one (1) NextSeq 550 Next-Generation Sequencer. The department will be purchasing a service contract for an Illumina MiSeq and NextSeq 550 Next-Generation Sequencer. This purchase is required to ensure the maintenance of the instrument and limit any downtime due to malfunctions. The Illumina Next-Generation Sequencers are essential components of GRDC Genomics lab core services and its functionality are required to attain deliverables for several ongoing AAFC projects. A System Health Check is required to recertify the instruments prior to activation of the service contract.
