Shared Services Canada has a requirement for the provision of White Pages Directory Listings for Shared Services Canada (SSC) in support of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Operations (RCMP) in Alberta. This requirement is for the Contractor to publish contact information of RCMP services, using the Contractor’s standard White Pages directory listing services. The work will involve the following: The Contractor must distribute the directories (paper book) to Canadian households in their respective coverage area. The work must respect the service descriptions as set out in 2.1 White Pages Directory Listings in the Statement of Work. (SOW) The contractor must provide verbal and written communications under the Contract, in English or French, based on RCMP’s preference. The purpose of this Advance Contract Award Notice (ACAN) is to signal the government’s intention to award a 3 year contract at a value of approximately $740,000 (Customs duty, applicable taxes and shipping included) for these services (as applicable in the attached Statement Of Work) to RCMP Headquarters Office located at :11140-109 Street, T5G 2T4 Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Before awarding a contract, however, the government provides other suppliers with the opportunity to demonstrate that they are capable of satisfying the requirements set out in this Notice, by submitting a statement of capabilities during the fifteen calendar day posting period. If other potential suppliers submit statements of capabilities during the fifteen calendar day posting period that meet the requirements set out in the ACAN, the government will proceed to a full tendering process on either the government's electronic tendering service or through traditional means, in order to award the contract. Suppliers who consider themselves fully qualified and available to meet the specified requirements may submit a statement of capabilities in writing to the contact person identified in this Notice on or before the closing date of this Notice. The statement of capabilities must clearly demonstrate how the supplier meets the advertised requirements. If no other supplier submits, on or before the closing date, a statement of capabilities meeting the requirements set out in the ACAN, a contract will be awarded to the pre-selected supplier. The services and/or goods to be provided on an as-and-when required basis are as stated in the Statement of Work which can be provided which is appended as Annex A to this notification. This ACAN is being issued by Shared Services Canada (SSC). SSC is a federal government department that acts as a shared services organization. Any resulting instrument will be used by SSC to provide shared services to one or more of its partner organizations / clients. SSC’s “partner organizations / clients” include SSC itself, those government institutions for whom SSC’s services are mandatory at any point during the life of the resulting instrument, and those other organizations for whom SSC’s services are optional at any point during the life of the resulting instrument and that choose to use those services from time to time. In addition to the Government of Canada, SSC may also serve a government of a province or municipality in Canada, a Canadian aid agency, a public health organization, an intergovernmental organization or a foreign government. SSC may decide to add new departments and agencies for order issuance directly with the Service Provider.
