Hillsborough County intends to recommend the approval of a modification to an existing agreement (5211) with First Data Government Solutions, LP, increasing the agreement amount by $3,200,000.00, from $4,050,716.48 to $7,250,716.48, due to the increased usage of citizens, the addition of 1-Way SMS texting messaging with AccessNet Software Interactive Voice-Web Response Maintenance and Support, an additional kiosk, add software subscription and maintenance support for all kiosks thorough the term of the contract. This procurement is being made in accordance with Section 3-208 (8) of the County’s Procurement Policy as the existing system and services are subject to a contract modification and the contractor is already performing services, would not be practical to engage another contractor, and is only reasonably available from First Data Government Solutions, LP. The County reserves the right to extend the time period further, adjust the scope of services in response to changing conditions and updated requirements, and increase the resulting award accordingly. Contractors who believe that they can provide goods and/or services that are substantially and materially the same as those identified in the attached Exhibit A, dated February 27, 2024, must submit clear and convincing information to support a challenge the intended award. Challenges to this notice must be received no later than the Close Date of the Sole Source (SS) Project. After this date, an award will be made.
