Adams Lake Dam B Remediation

WSA intends to engage a General Contractor remediate Adams Lake Dam B and its infrastructure in order to safely return the reservoir to its design Full Supply Level (FSL). To accomplish this, the Contractor will complete the following work, summarized at a high level as follows: Grouting the no longer in service wood stave culvert low level outlet. Installing a Corrugated Steel Pipe (CSP) insert into the existing CSP Drop Inlet. Constructing a walkway to access the infrastructure’s operator gate. Constructing a downstream toe berm with engineering granular filter. Upgrading access trail and low-level crossing with granular, as needed, for construction equipment to safely access the project site.

WSA is responsible for water management in the Province of Saskatchewan, which includes managing the Province’s water supply, protecting water quality, ensuring safe drinking water and the treatment of wastewater, reducing flood and drought damage, protecting aquatic habitat, and managing dams and related supply channels.
