The Air Force anticipates a sole source award to Technical Innovations for the purchase/service of the following: Additional equipment for AU/CC Conference Room in building 800. This is Sole Source procurement, synopsis published for informational purposes only. No solicitation documents will be used or made available as a result of this notice. This proposed contract action is for procurement of an item for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 USC 2304(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements". The proposed source is Technical Innovations, 2975 Northwoods Parkway, Norcross, GA 30071. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within three (3) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A. Recommend a sole source for this requirement because the contractor (Technical Innovations) is currently performing work in the same location. Reference: FA3300-10-C-0017. B. Additional requirement is required to be integrated into ongoing installation that is currently being installed in location. System must function as one seamless unit and must meet the same requirements as existing equipment. Ongoing installation is currently under warranty and any modification to existing system by anyone other than the current contractor will void system warranty and standing contract. C. Additional requirements must integrate into current system. Integration is not possible by anyone other than the current contractor due to control system proprietary code and standing contractual and warranty obligations.
