This sources sought is published for informational purposes only. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). This requirement is anticipated to be procured sole source to Lockheed Martin Corporation, Missiles and Fire Control (LMMFC), Archbald, Pennsylvania.



The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Program Office, PMA-201, Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award an order under Corporate Basic Ordering Agreement N0001923G0003 to (LMMFC, Archbald Pennsylvania, under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c}(l), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.103-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The tasking for this order is for the procurement of ADU-892A/E Test Set Adapters to include: test set adapters, operational support, cartridges, support equipment, logistics and engineering support, test support, repairs, and training for Kuwait.


THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice. The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this notice. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(l), as implemented by FAR 6.103-1, only one responsibility source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. A formal Solicitation is anticipated in Q3 of 2026.


GENERAL INFORMATION: Lockheed Martin is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of ADU-892 and as such is the only company that has the requisite knowledge, production tooling, facilities and technical data necessary to meet this requirement. There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitations, make an award(s), or to be responsible for any monies expended by interested parties before award of a contract for the efforts mentioned above. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract. No telephone responses will be accepted.
