Japan will host the next World Expo, Expo 2025, in Osaka. Canada has confirmed its participation and GAC, on behalf of the Government of Canada, has the mandate to plan, coordinate and implement this project.
Key elements of the project required to conceive, develop, build, fit-up, operate, maintain and dismantle the Canada Pavilion and its content, will be creativity, innovation and solid management practices, ensuring Canada distinguishes itself in a highly competitive international environment.
Those interested in participating in this upcoming procurement are encouraged to consider key team members up front and early on, with all the capabilities needed to deliver this prominent project, including architect and construction contractors with the requisite skills, experience, and licenses to successfully undertake the work in Japan. The ability to enter into partnerships, joint ventures, or subcontracting arrangements would be key to the successful delivery of this proposed procurement, as is the ability to operate in both Canada and Japan.
