AI Contract Overview
Contract 75A50126C00011, awarded to OXOS Medical, Inc. by the Department of Health and Human Services through BARDA, provides 48,891,652.86 dollars for the advanced development and FDA clearance of the OXOS X3. This ultra-portable, high-output general radiography and fluoroscopy system is engineered as a threat-agnostic medical countermeasure designed to weigh under 25 pounds and deliver up to 100 kV / 15 mA. The system aims to eliminate transport-to-imaging bottlenecks during mass casualty incidents, such as nuclear detonations, conventional blasts, or large-scale trauma surges, by bringing hospital-grade diagnostic capabilities directly to the point of need. The OXOS X3 is intended for use in high-volume emergency departments, temporary field hospitals, and triage sites to restore the diagnostic foundation of the ATLS primary survey where current portable assets are insufficient. Performance of the contract is based in Atlanta, Georgia, under NAICS code 541714. The project focuses on improving survival rates in critical trauma events by enabling the immediate detection of fractures and other trauma through point-of-care imaging.

Full Description
Transform trauma response by bringing hospital-grade imaging directly to the point of need by developing and receiving FDA clearance of the OXOS X3, an ultra-portable, high-output general radiography and fluoroscopy system engineered to function as a threatagnostic medical countermeasure (MCM). Designed to weigh under 25 pounds and deliver up to 100 kV / 15 mA at the point of need, X3 augments the transport-to-imaging bottleneck that currently degrades survival in mass casualty incidents (MCIs) involving nuclear detonation, conventional blast, or large-scale trauma surge events. By bringing hospital-grade diagnostic capability directly to the casualty, whether in a high-volume Emergency Department, a temporary field hospital, or a triage site, X3 restores the diagnostic foundation of the ATLS primary survey at every step where current portable assets fail.
