The Air Force issued a Request for Information (RFI) seeking qualified firms to provide English Language Training (ELT) services to support U.S. Government Security Assistance and Security Cooperation objectives. These services would utilize Defense Language Institute English Language Center courseware and occur at locations both within the Continental United States (CONUS) and internationally, with a primary focus on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and potential other international customers. The contract is expected to be Firm-Fixed-Price and aligns with NAICS code 611630 for language schools. Respondents were asked to submit capability statements addressing 14 specific points such as company information, experience with similar contracts, ability to operate in Saudi Arabia, and socio-economic status. Notably, as of January 7, 2015, the requirement for the ELT Worldwide contract has been placed on hold, and no Industry Day is scheduled at this time. Firms interested in future opportunities must monitor FedBizOpps for updates. The purpose of this RFI was market research only, not a solicitation for proposals or a commitment by the government to award a contract. Respondents were instructed to submit questions in writing and to provide detailed business and technical qualifications by the August 29, 2014 deadline. The contracting office and point of contact for submissions was Ms. Suzanne Davenport, with Joseph S. Sitterly designated as the Contracting Officer.

Solicitation # 1000571680
The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) under solicitation number 1000571680 to explore the feasibility of implementing a scalable, AI-powered language learning solution. The primary objective is to support employees in developing and maintaining proficiency in English or French to comply with the modernized Official Languages Act and ensure high-quality bilingual service delivery. The agency is seeking a solution that provides adaptive learning paths, automated skill assessment, and real-time conversational practice tailored to Government of Canada workplace scenarios, such as client interactions and meetings. The initial scope is intended to support approximately 1,500 users with the potential for future enterprise-wide expansion. Technical and regulatory requirements are stringent, requiring compliance with Government of Canada Protected B security standards and WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility guidelines. A critical requirement is that data must remain in Canada and not be used to train external AI models. The CRA is also interested in suppliers' AI governance practices, including bias mitigation and transparency, as well as security certifications such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2. This RFI is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for tenders or a commitment to enter into a contract. Responses must be submitted electronically to the contracting authority, Charles Safarian, by October 22, 2026, at 14:00 EDT.
