1.2.1 This bid solicitation is being issued to satisfy the requirement of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. It is intended to result in the award of one (1) contract from contract award to October 31st, 2025 with four (4), one (1) year option periods. 1.2.2 Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada (AAFC), is seeking proposals for a single contractor to provide warehousing and distribution services related to the storing and delivery of its IT equipment. AAFC estimates it would require storage for up to 200 pallets at any one point. The warehousing and distribution services required include the provision of suitable and accessible dry, secure space for storage of material, the material handling equipment and warehousing aids necessary for efficient and safe handling of customer owned material, distribution, transportation, management and additional services as detailed herein. This requirement does not include records storage or printing services. AAFC requires the contractor to provide delivery services to its locations within the NCR, and to facilitate shipping, as requested, to other locations across the country. Shipping may be required to locations in any province or territory, but is not anticipated to be international. 1.2.3 There is a Security component associated with this requirement.
