While the resulting catalog will not function as a procurement tool or list of pre-approved vendors, it will serve as a transparent resource to help jurisdictions understand the full spectrum of available solutions, identify gaps in current technology offerings, and assess where vendors can best support their modernization goals. All activities are centered in Washington, D.C., with the point of contact for questions listed as Jan Welsh of the Department of Health and Human Services.

Alberta Agriculture and Irrigation is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive engineering, maintenance, and demand services for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems across multiple water infrastructure sites throughout the province. The scope includes the ongoing operation, troubleshooting, and minor upgrading of SCADA and Programmable Logic Controller-based systems located at key facilities including dams, headworks, pumphouses, and canal systems in the South, Bow River, Central, and North regions of Alberta. The contractor must be locally available to ensure rapid response times and cost-effective service delivery, with expertise in a variety of equipment makes and models spanning PLC I/O, human-machine interfaces, sensors, communication networks, radios, antennae, and associated computing hardware. Regular maintenance and technical servicing are essential to sustain the reliable function of these critical systems that support provincial water management operations. As the government lacks internal expertise for these specialized tasks, the selected contractor will act as an extension of the Water Infrastructure and Operations Branch, working under the direction of the Project Manager to address deficiencies identified during routine inspections and ensure uninterrupted system performance. Proposals must be submitted by June 2, 2026, and the contract is open to eligible service providers with demonstrated capability in SCADA system integration and water infrastructure support.
