The proposed project involves repair of approximately 60 linear feet of existing sewer main located along Aptos Beach Drive from manhole AH90 upstream towards manhole AH92. The sewer main is damaged and requires immediate repair. The project will be completed through conventional open-cut trenching which includes saw cutting the existing road, digging a trench, removing the existing deteriorated pipe (or portions of the pipe if spot repairs are done), replacing it with new pipe, and reconstructing the paved roadway. Construction will occur entirely within the existing asphalt roadway in the County road right-of-way.
