The project consists of demolition of existing infrastructure and draining of the existing completely mixed lagoon, four partially mixed lagoons and Ponds No. 1 through 4; construction of a new headworks facility with a mechanical chain and rack bar screen and screenings washer/compactor/grinder unit, a new influent eccentric manhole and a concrete influent flow meter vault; replacement of the existing influent pump and reconfiguration of the pump activation system; replacement of one 15 HP completely mixed and four 3 HP partially mixed surface aerators; construction of a new sludge dewatering/wasting pipeline with one trailer-mounted pump system; construction of two new wire mesh soil cement lined sludge dewatering ponds with concrete dewatering structures including a downward opening weir gate, supplemental stop logs and grating; a reinforced concrete pad for a new emergency generator; construction of a new CMU operations and electrical building with HVAC, plumbing, restroom, washer/dryer, testing equipment and electrical infrastructure; implementation of a facility-wide PLC/SCADA monitoring system; and miscellaneous civil improvements including asphalt resurfacing, grading, earthwork, piping, fittings and thrust blocks.
