Air Cargo Handling System

This acquisition is for the performance, design, fabrication, installation, orientation and test requirements for an Air Cargo Handling System for the Air Freight Terminal Complex at Hickam Air Force Base (AFB), Hawaii. System includes: Transfer Vehicles, 463L Pallet Conveyor Systems, Overhead Bridge Crane, Pallet Lift System, Rolling Stock Lift System, Inventory Control System, Construction for the Air Cargo Handling System, an option consisting of the ALOC dock, three land side storage conveyors, four air side storage conveyors, and the extension of the roof, the TV feed rails, and the TV rails including all foundation work necessary to install the system, and an option for the rolling stock lift. Details will be included in the Request for Proposal when it is issued approximately 15 days from the date of this listing. NOTE: Contractor Experience: Offerors must be able to document experience, to the satisfaction of the Contracting Officer, within the past five (5) years in the design, manufacture, software development, installation, acceptance and current customer operation of two (2) elevating transfer vehicle (ETC) systems and one (1) air cargo system. This acquisition will be open to all type businesses using commercial procedures. NAICS Code is 333999. Size standard is 500 employees. We will utilize the Best Value technique of Price Performance Trade-Off (PPT) to make a Best Value Award decision. Pre-Proposal Conference: There will be a Pre-Proposal Conference held at Hickam AFB, HI approximately 3 weeks after the Request for Proposals (RFP) is released. Details will be included in the RFP.
